Creativation 2018 – Gelli Arts® Booth
One of my very favorite ways to spend time in my studio is monoprinting. I can't seem to make enough prints on paper or fabric so I just keep going and printing and creating with abandon!
We spent a lot of time at Creativation 2018 in the Gelli Arts® Booth where I learned even more great stuff to further my monoprinting obsession!
Be sure to check out all the photos below. Click the images to see all the details.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Lou Ann Gleason and hearing about Gelli Arts® soon-to-be-released products. As much time as I’ve learned about monoprinting, there’s always more! Lou Ann even hinted at a BIG beautiful Gelli® Plate that's going to be available this spring. I can't wait to print fabric on that gorgeous thing!!
Tracy Weinzapfel was demonstrating in the booth on Saturday and graciously answered my questions as she showed the new 9” x 12” Gelli® Plate with the new mylar grid. I’m looking forward to using this plate for lots of reasons, including edge to edge printing on 8.5” x 11” paper.
Tracy also showed me the kits from Gelli Arts® which are a great way for people to get acquainted with various surfaces on which to print and everything is available that you need to print inside each boxed kit. Nice!
Did you know that Gelli Arts® has a very affordable line of Premium Acrylic Paints? Be sure to check out the information about these paints. I like the facts that there is a longer open time, they may be mixed to create new colors and they're lightfast, too. These paints are available in sets as well as individually. Check them out!
When we broadcast LIVE from Creativation on Sunday, Linda Brun entertained us with her style of Gelli® Plate printing. I think she was a little nervous about broadcasting LIVE, but she did a great job! Big Thank yous to Gelli Arts® and Linda. 🙂
I’ll be back with more posts about the booths we visited and the people we met at Creativation 2018!
