I love to use my sewing machine in art projects. Using interesting sewing techniques and unique presser feet is a great way to add pizzazz to any fiber art piece. I'll show you one of my favorite presser feet – the Free-Motion Cording foot with monofilament thread and heavy nylon cord. The effect created is cording that appears to float on the surface of the fabric, although it's entirely stitched in place. Fun!
