I love my Art Journals and writing journals, too! During this Drama-free Friday LIVE stream, I showed lots of examples of journals and how I create unique covers for each one. My favorite journals include Composition notebooks (available at any big box discount store or office supply store) and Moleskines. My favorite sizes of Moleskine journals are 5″ x 8″ and the larger Moleskine 7.5″ x 9.75″. (The larger “Molie” is similar in size to the Composition notebook.)

Which journal should you choose? I'd recommend trying several different kinds of journals and just see what YOU like to use. Personally, I love the Moleskine paper now and would have a tough time going back to Composition notebooks now. It's really a matter of personal preference and budget. Have fun and enjoy the journey of self-discovery.

I also showed a fun book from my local Barnes and Noble bookstore called Sketch Your Sticker. It's filled from cover to cover with stickers waiting to be colored, sketched, or painted. You'll never be bored because there are more than 550 stickers inside!

I love using Elmer's Art Paste and acrylic paint to create quick paste paper techniques, so that's what I did to add color to my sample stickers. This part of the LIVE stream begins at 1:19:28.

Join me the first Friday of each month for another LIVE stream. We begin every episode of Drama-free Friday at 2pm Eastern. I'll see you again, soon.
