Faber-Castell Mixed Media Stencils – Review by Barb
If you love stencils but don’t have an unlimited budget for them, be sure to check out the sets by Faber-Castell. Each set of stencils contains TEN different designs! Who couldn’t love that for value and they are quite reasonable in price, too! The patterns are very nice and easy to use and measure 6.5” square. The sets I have and use are Set 101 – Reusable Graphic Stencils and Set 301 – Reusable Lettering Stencils.
The biggest “drawback” for these stencil collections is that they are made of paper. I’d guess they are made from about 65# craft colored card stock. That means that they are not going to hold up when using a lot of wet media for an extended period. In the video you’ll see the various types of products I used with them.
The bottom line is that they are a great value for what they are – nice designs and can be very useful in the right creative situation.
Until next time ~
