Creativation 2017 Review with Race and Barb
Just a week ago, Creativation 2017 was in full swing and Race (aka The Technical Department) graciously covered the event for HowToGetCreative.com.
Race hosted the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas several years ago and his experience covering more than 350 booths filled with new products is invaluable!
Take a walk with Race as he heads toward the exhibition area.
Create and Craft UK and US were simultaneously broadcasting LIVE from Creativation 2017.
Amazingly, Bob Ross (1942-1995) is still making his presence known in the creative world!
How could you forget “happy little trees” and “beating the devil out of the brush”? It’s incredible to think that 22 years after his passing, Bob is still inspiring creativity!

Race visited with Peg at Fox Chapel Publishing about the vast array of color books for adults.
He learned from Peg that the trend in color books evolved from interest in the art of Zentangle.
Color books seem to be a continuing trend in 2017!
Seth Apter chatted with Race during one of our live broadcasts (more about that in a future post) and we learned about his new paint colors with Paper Artsy and wonderful rubber stamps with Impression Obsession.
