Paste Paper is one of my favorite things to create. I love the colors and patterns I can create with acrylic paint and Art Paste. Talk about getting lost in FUN!

Oh hey, Mandala Madness is just getting started. You really don't want to miss out so come join the colorful fun with us!! You don't want us to be “Mad” all by ourselves, do you??

As you watch the video from Drama-free Friday, you can see the results. If you need even more instruction and inspiration, be sure to watch Paste Paper is Fabulous! and Paste Paper Pizazz, both of which are sample video classes from our Member's Area that you can watch for FREE! If you like Paste Paper, be sure to watch them!!

After mixing the Art Paste and any kind of acrylic paint (I do not have an exact formula – trial and error) I just paint it on the copy paper or card stock or any ugly papers I have in  my space. As I apply the “paste paint” with foam brushes, I use a variety of texture tools including Catalyst Wedges and Combing Tools to draw through the paint to create patterns. Style Stix are great, too.

As soon as one layer of “paste paint” is dry, I add another. Some of the examples below have multiple layers added. If one is good, 3, 4 or 5 is better! 🙂

Once the pages are completely dry, I use an iron to flatten them and then they are ready for creative inspiration to strike. You can see a couple of books I've created with my own Paste Papers. Be sure to click the images to see all the detail.

Be sure to join me LIVE each Drama-free Friday at 2pm Eastern. You never know what might happen, but it's always fun to chat and create together.

Until next time ~

Remember to Get Creative today! It's Easy!
