LIVE! How to Begin Painting a Hand Carved Fantasy Bird

Brace yourself, the holidays are approaching! Yikes, they get here faster every year, don't they?

Clausman (aka R. L. Owen, my other half) is a carving master and each year in the fall, the wood chips begin flying all over our house as his gouges and knives find the Santas and Snow People hidden within chunks of northern Basswood. But Clausman has carved many things through the years other than holiday figures and during this stream I showed you many of the birds, ducks and even a few crazy things he's carved. 😉 I decided to paint several little birds that have patiently waited for some color.

And wowsers, did I give them what they wanted!! Just wait til you see them!
